EQUINE STARS “CUPID AND ARROW”
COME TO THE CONNECTICUT PET SHOW

HARTFORD, CT – Hillside Equestrian Meadows brings equine stars Cupid and Arrow and their incredible tale to the Connecticut Pet Show, October 30th and 31st, 2004 at the Connecticut Expo Center in Hartford, CT.

Visitors to the show can hear the remarkable story of an abused and abandoned horse with a big heart on the inside and outside. Cupid, appropriately named because of the heart shaped mark on her forehead, was a small sickly mare purchase at an auction and with the love and attention she deserved, became a healthy, beautiful, blue ribbon horse show winner. In the transformation of the horse’s self-worth, she gave birth to a colt with another unique mark, an arrow on his backside. The entire family will enjoy this story of love, compassion, hope and enlightenment and the opportunity to meet its stars.

Cupid and Arrow’s owner, Buck, will be on hand all weekend to narrate and autograph his new children’s book, Cupids Secret. He also has a fun interactive game show for kids, teaching them what they need to know about horses. Hollywood producers recently picked up Cupids Secret and a movie is due to be released in 2006.

Hillside Equestrian Meadows offers riding lesson and specializes in providing therapy for brain-injured children by training with its horses including Cupid.

Meet Cupid and Arrow at the Connecticut Pet Show, October 30th and 31st, 2004 at the Connecticut Expo Center in Hartford, CT. Show hours are Saturday 11am – 6pm and Sunday 11am – 5pm. Tickets are available at the door. Bring one or more non-perishable dog/cat food items and get $1.00 off an adult admission price. All proceeds go to local animal rescues and shelters.
