Decades

Decades is Western Massachusetts’ premier wedding and corporate function dance party band.  Since 1993, Decades has been entertaining audiences all over New England with their energetic cover renditions of songs from the 1950s through today’s current hits.  Specializing in formal affairs—including weddings and parties (corporate, anniversary, Jack & Jill, engagement, reunion and celebration), the Decades Experience is an interactive sound and light show that will draw you and your guests into the center of the fun.  The members of Decades have been entertaining audiences young and old--from the most intimate of gatherings to the 10,000+ crowds at the Easthampton Fireworks—for over 17 years.  Featuring both 2007 Valley Idol winner Alana Martineau and long-time Decades frontman Jeff Damon on vocals, your event will come alive with the all of the classics and hits enthusiastically performed by guitarist Leo Hicks, bassist Dan Warner, keyboardist Matt Barstow and drummer Bob Hartwright.  No event is too large or too small to benefit from the enhancement of live entertainment.  Decades provides a full spectrum of entertainment-related services including:  interactive live performances, acoustic soloists and duos, solo vocalists, emceeing raffles and awards ceremonies, and cocktail background music.  Make your event something to cherish for years to come.  Remember, it’s not just music—it’s the Decades Experience!    

Allegra Farm

Now in our fourth decade, Allegra Farm is the largest authentic livery stable in Connecticut, catering solely to those who desire a unique experience from a bygone era.  Allegra Farm is home to the Horse Drawn Carriage and Sleigh Museum of New England, and full time carriage service is our only business.  From elegant carriages to well trained & groomed horses, from authentic attire to the proper etiquette, our meticulous eye for historical detail will carry you away to the Victorian Age in style.

Located on beautiful Lake Hayward in East Haddam, CT, we offer scenic, romantic carriage rides around the lake and will travel throughout New England for weddings, anniversaries, proms, and other celebrations. In addition, we cater to city and town events, festivals, parades, parties, and most solemn antique horse drawn funerals.  Our antique sleighs offer an invigorating ride through New England’s snow covered landscape. If you wish to learn to drive your own carriage, we can provide lessons as well.  Our horses are fully and personally trained by us, ensuring your comfort and safety.
