PROVIDENCE, RI – The 17th Annual Rhode Island Pet Show and International Cat Association Cat Show, sponsored by PETCO and the PETCO Foundation, returns to the Rhode Island Convention Center, March 6-7, 2010. From dogs and cats to birds and bunnies, there’s an animal for everyone to admire at the Pet Show.
The Rhode Island Pet Show features The AKC Parade of Purebred Dogs by the Canine Training Center; The International Cat Association (TICA) Cat Show, with over 100 breeds of exotic and domestic purebred cats, the Rare and AKC Dog Show, the Exotic Bird Show, Lil’ Folks Farm Pony Rides and petting zoo, Agility demonstrations by MasterPeace Dog Training, Intense Distraction Training Dog demonstrations by Solid K9 Training and much more.
Numerous local and national rescue leagues, breed clubs and shelters will be on hand with information on dogs and cats available for adoption.
The Rhode Island Pet Show is produced by Jenks Productions, Inc. and runs March 6-7, 2010. Show hours are Saturday and Sunday 11 am to 6 pm. Tickets are available at the door. Bring one or more non-perishable dog/cat food items and get $1.00 off an adult admission price. All donations go to C.A.T.S.
